Southbound I-95 between I-395 and Exit 50 (Caton Ave.)

On or about Fri. Sept. 4: Southbound I-95 traffic lanes will shift with all four lanes to the left of the work area between the Washington Blvd. on-ramp and Exit 50 (Caton Avenue). The on-ramp from Washington Blvd. to southbound I-95 remains closed 24/7. Traffic from southbound Washington Blvd. detours to Caton Ave., to southbound I-95. Traffic from northbound Washington Blvd. detours to Bush St., to Russell St., to southbound I-95.

What Drivers Can Expect

  • Stay Alert So No One Gets Hurt!EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS in and around the work zone.
  • Travel lanes will be reduced in width from 12-foot lanes to 11-foot lanes.
  • Construction will result in shifts in traffic patterns throughout the project duration.
  • Concrete barrier walls will separate traffic from the work zone and opposing vehicles.
  • Use alternate routes in and out of Baltimore to avoid delays (MD 295, I-695 or I-895).
